Hanford Core & Hanford Plus (Years 3 – 5)

Available for day girls in Years 3 – 5. This option is ideal for families who prefer a shorter school day. Girls are collected after lessons finish at 4.40pm. They are dropped off between 8.15am and 8.25am, join all aspects of the school day, but do their prep and have supper at home. They do not attend Saturday morning school or participate in the weekday after-school activities or clubs held after 4:40pm. Many girls choose to transition to Hanford Plus once they have adjusted to a busy school day. |

Parents of day girls in Years 3 – 5 can chose this option. This allows girls to stay after formal lessons and sports to participate in a range of activities, extra-curricular clubs, prep supervision, and supper. Hanford Plus also offers greater flexibility with drop-off and pick-up times. Girls can arrive early, between 7.45am and 8.25am, and join the boarders for breakfast in the Dining Hall. In the evenings, parents can collect their daughters up until 7.00pm, Monday to Friday. Saturday morning school and activities are also part of Hanford Plus. |
| Day Girls in Years 6 – 8 |

Day Girls in Years 6 – 8 should be collected at 6.30pm Monday to Friday. They must attend Saturday school which finishes at 1.00pm. Girls may be selected for Saturday sports fixtures; Collection time is then 4.00pm. Day Girls may stay on for supper and late collection until 7.30pm. An additional charge of £18 + VAT will be applied. |

Extras & Activities
Please note that as of the Lent term 2025, most extra charges are subject to VAT at standard rate.
- Riding – £300 + VAT per term
- Weekly term-time pony working livery fee – £40 + VAT
- Weekly holiday pony full livery fee – £60 + VAT
*Those pupils with ponies at school on livery will receive a 50% discount on termly riding fees. - Dancing – £147 per term + VAT
- Tennis – £63 per term + VAT
- Learning a Musical Instrument – £226 per term + VAT
- Musical Instrument Hire – £20 per term (exempt VAT)
- Hanford Core (Years 3 – 5), Activities and Supper (to be booked in advance) – £28 + VAT
- Hanford Core (Years 3 - 5), Saturday Morning activities (to be booked in advance) - £45 +VAT
- Day Girls (Years 6 – 8), Supper and Late Collection (to be booked in advance) – £18 + VAT
Learning Support
Every attempt is made to keep additional fees for Learning Support to a minimum. The school offers the first half term of support free of charge. Thereafter, depending on level of need, payment is divided into:
- Level A (typically 2 small group sessions per week) – £200 + VAT per term
- Level B (typically a 1:1 session + small group sessions per week) – £300 + VAT per term
- Level C (typically 2 x 1:1 + small group sessions per week) – £400 + VAT per term
- Full diagnostic assessment – £350 + VAT
Notes:
Trips and activities costing more than £50 per pupil will not be charged without prior consent.
