One of the most important roles we play as a prep school is helping families choose the right senior school – and preparing children to thrive when they get there. It is a partnership we take seriously, and one that is built on trust, time, and personal support.
We begin conversations with families in Year 5, offering thoughtful guidance as the journey unfolds. From informal chats over coffee and senior school seminars to detailed application planning, our staff are here every step of the way. With many senior school admissions beginning years in advance, we work closely with parents to ensure that deadlines are met, ambitions are encouraged, and every child finds the school that fits them best.
We are proud of our strong links with a wide range of schools – co-ed and single-sex – including close partnerships with Sherborne Boys and Sherborne Girls. Regular dialogue with Senior School Heads means our pupils are known, understood, and warmly welcomed wherever they go next.
