Alastair is Deputy Head (Co-Curricular) at Sherborne Prep and brings an effervescent enthusiasm for providing a wealth of opportunities, trips, and adventures for pupils.
A Passion for Teaching Young Children
He completed a degree in History at the University of Bristol, followed by an iPGCE at the University of Buckingham.
Before entering education, Alastair served in an infantry regiment, spent several years in venture capital in the West End, and then co-founded and ran a travel company for 12 years.
Now with a family, Alastair and his wife, Hayley, both enjoy teaching young children.
At Sherborne Prep, he teaches English, History, French, and Leadership, and is regularly involved in sport across the school.
