These are not just “extras” – they are essential. Whether a child is building a medieval fortress out of cereal boxes, mastering stop-motion, or having an unexpected moment of clarity in Philosophy Club, the experiences they collect outside the classroom shape them just as much as what happens inside it. Through play, projects, and plenty of teamwork, our pupils learn about themselves and each other. They grow in character, creativity, and joy – and all while having an absolute blast. — |
Saturday Mornings Done Differently
Saturday mornings at Sherborne Prep are not for sleeping in – they’re for climbing walls, Latin chants, and a bit of junk modelling on the side.
From 9:00am to 12:30pm, our Saturday Activities run for pupils in Years 3–8. Optional for day pupils – but most wouldn’t dream of missing out.
A carousel of curiosity, it’s a chance to try something new, develop a passion, or simply enjoy doing something a little bit different with friends.

Enrichment That Expands Horizons
Our daily Enrichment sessions are like brainy pick-me-ups – small-group adventures into unexpected worlds.
Children might be delving into current affairs, dabbling in zoology, or taking the reins in sports leadership. These sessions are designed to stretch their minds, build confidence, and give pupils the space to explore the unfamiliar with enthusiasm.
Delivered in a relaxed, informal atmosphere, Enrichment is where questions are welcomed, ideas are challenged, and dialogue takes centre stage. Some of our external offerings come with a small charge, but the value? Immeasurable.
