Fundraiser of the Year
Earlier this summer, Jemima in Year 6 set herself a challenge: to raise funds for The Mintridge Foundation, a charity that supports and inspires young people through mentoring with Olympians, Paralympians, and professional athletes.
Her fundraising efforts were as varied as they were impressive. Jemima baked and sold brownies and cupcakes, ran 5km every day for a week, and completed a sponsored swim, raising £5 for every five lengths she swam.
Her determination and creativity paid off. In total, she raised an extraordinary £3,535 for the charity.
On Saturday, Jemima attended a celebratory breakfast at the Richmond Hill Hotel in Surrey, where she was named Fundraiser of the Year by two of the charity’s patrons, Clare Balding CBE and Alice Arnold.
A remarkable achievement – we are incredibly proud of her.
