We understand – choosing a school is a rather large deal. Whether it’s questions about how things run, what the children are really like, or just how good are your match teas (answer: dangerously good), we’re here to help.
The Prep is one of those places that needs to be felt to be believed. Families are welcome to visit anytime – for a proper look around, a chat with the team, and even a sneak peek into what's really going on behind the classroom doors. Or come along to one of our Open Mornings, where the coffee’s hot, the smiles are genuine, and the learning speaks for itself.
Applications are open across all year groups (spaces depending), and we’ll keep the process friendly, human and as fuss-free as we can. No forms in triplicate. Just a warm welcome, and plenty of answers.

I am here to guide you through our admissions process and answer any questions you may have along the way about our lovely school, our children, our ethos or even about moving to the area!
Sherborne Prep is truly special and needs to be seen to fully experience the wonderful atmosphere and feel of the school for yourself.
Parents are encouraged to come at any point throughout the term for an individual visit, catered to your family’s needs.
We also hold termly Open Mornings which offer an excellent opportunity to see us in a small group setting; meet many of our lovely staff, have a tour and experience a morning in the life of our school.
We welcome applications to every year group, depending on availability, and aim to make the process as seamless as possible for your family.
